No. We ONLY build in-ground gunite pools. Gunite pools are highly durable and can be created in just about any shape. You get more flexibility to add amenities with custom Gunite pools. Because the method of construction is more amenable to custom designs, the sky’s the limit when it comes to customizing a Gunite pool. You can create a Gunite pool of any size, shape, or depth. You can get creative when it comes to amenities: built-in barstools, irregular underwater benches, tanning ledges, and more. What To Expect

Initial Meeting

We’ll sit down with you to get an idea of what you want, the size and depth you’d like, any features to include, and other specifications to help us design the pool of your dreams.

3D Design

We’ll bring your pool to life with our 3D computer software, showing the scale, space, and features so that you can visualize your backyard paradise.

Tile & Coping Selections

Once the design is finalized, you’ll pick the tile and coping, or the protective cap or lip that finishes off the edge of the pool, giving it a polished look.

Permits / HOA

Pool construction will require permits and all plans must comply with state, local, and HOA building regulations. Unless otherwise agreed upon, the homeowner is required to get approval from the HOA. Please contact us for detailed plans to submit to the HOA. It is important to keep in mind that some HOAs only meet to approve submissions once or twice a month, which could delay the start of your pool.

Project Layout

Our team will come out to perform a project layout and make sure there aren’t any surprises in the space you’d like to build your pool. The excavation crew will use this layout to determine the shape, size, and location of your pool in your yard.

Excavation

This is where things can get messy--but don’t worry! We’ll clean it up! Some heavy equipment will arrive and the excavation crew will carefully dig and hand-trim your pool to design specifications, and some dirt may be left to use in the end stages of construction.

Pool Build & Construction

The pool is ready for construction with a structural steel form, plumbing, and gunite--a mixture of sand, rock and cement. All other features will be built in this stage, along with tile and coping installation and construction of the pool deck.

Final Inspection

An inspection from the city must be conducted before we can fill the pool with water. Due to the need for access to the house, the homeowner will need to be present during this inspection. It will be the owners responsibility to ensure all barriers are in compliance with the pool area code. Your local city may have specific requirements that must be met to complete the inspection.

Pool Care, Maintenance, And Education

We don’t just build your pool and leave you to figure out how to maintain it. We’ll take you to “pool school” with instructions on how to test water levels, add the proper chemicals, and keep your pool clear and blue all year long.

Enjoy Your Backyard Paradise!

We’re always here if you have any follow-up concerns or questions after your pool is finished, but we know you’ll love your new backyard paradise!
